The summer weather has officially broken and we don't expect to see temperatures in excess of 100F for several months. Then again, as I type this, we weren't supposed to have any all of October and we had at least six.
The point?
We are now in the dog days of autumn. Also known as: It's Good To Be A Dog Weather. Warm enough to sun yourself without getting overheated. Cool enough to allow the humans to cuddle you for about three minutes. Enough birds migrating to have something to watch. Kids are in school keeping the dog park relatively empty during daylight hours.
Life could only be more perfect if one thing.
A picnic.
A dog picnic to be precise.
This is an annual event.
Really.
A bag of ham sandwiches (one for each of the humans, one for the dogs to split - just ham and cheese, please), fruit, bottled water, and you've got the idea.
It is just the neighborhood park, it only lasts about thirty minutes, but it is a family thing. A tradition. One that I've done with all of the dogs. Never been missed.
Yes, I have been thoroughly and completely trained by Blond Boy. It only took him eleven years to do it.

This is the right blog for anyone who wants to find out about this topic. You realize so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that I actually would want…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a topic thats been written about for years. Great stuff, just great!
