another word to be careful of ... groggy

Everyone takes words and blends them ... or so it seems.

I used to own a pair of rottweilers, Bouncer and Rowdy.  I always called them together, peas in a pod, as it were.  Their name became:  Rouncer.  Both answered to it and it was no problem.

In the dog world we have puggles (pug beagle cross), Morkies (maltese yorkie cross), dorkies (dachshund yorkie mix).

Every world or social setting seems to have something that has morphed.

Today I learned a new one:  groggy.  It stands for grey, old and giggly.  Think dirty old men, add some sag, and you've got it.

A flower is a flower, even if grows up to be an onion:
aka most love scenes are stinkers to write.
How did I get this word, this thing?  I stumbled on a writing blog, and yes I swore these off, and found a series of comments on Fifty Shades of Grey and Mummy porn.  The man who writes this particular blog wants to see all of the Edwardian euphemisms come back, all the flowery language, and a bit of imagination to return to love scenes.

Today I was a bit tired, long day and all of that.   Previous to reading this posting, I might have felt groggy ... now I think that might mean I am showing my age and only my hairdresser knows for sure.

Think she's groggy?

I love Mugs! And there are always chugs (chihuahua pug mixes) ... when I was a kid they were ALL mutts. Or in our case, we had 1/2 pure bred poodle 1/2 neighborhood Romeo (no one knows what he was).

I still think there should be a market for Louie - 1/2 doxie 1/2 german shepherd ... and they were able to verify Daddy was a doxie - lots of ambition to make him happen! :7)

I forgot to give you the G's newest nickname ... Gorilla ... when we play, she makes a grrrr noise ... it morphed from there to grrrl to grill to gorilla ... so I guess now I have that monkey off my back.

I'm a groggy right this minute. Verb? Noun? Who cares. It's been a long week and I'm off work tomorrow. Heading to the beach we're I'll be a groggy and happy.
