It's Sunday Night ... so ...

I found the 15 minute easy soup recipe; I may or may not try it next week.

I will make kraut-brot next week, again.  Germans who came from Russia used to make it ... think winter, hunting, and empanadas full of cabbage (kraut), onion, and beef ... all rolled into bread dough.  Are mine perfect?  Nope. The dogs don't really care.

Hey, can you make Deviled Seafood in the Bible Belt?

Okay, I think I might actually make the vegetable vinaigrette. Can't quite read the left side of the recipe. I refuse to use canned peas, but I will use frozen. LOL.

Thanks for the great post. I love these old recipes.

I scanned the collection about three years ago ... and lost my patience with some of it - things don't always fit into my scanner - the book was a ledger used on a navy ship in the 1940s. (I have a collection of blank ones ... not that people know what ledger books look like anymore)

Wish my books were on paper ledgers. There's something about being able to look at paper instead of a computer screen that helps me think. Can you see the auditor's face next year if she came to audit the books and they were on paper and out of QuickBooks?
