365 Thank Yous - John Kralik

In the magical, mystical world of metaphysics (and those who follow Oprah) there is a lot being written about gratitude.

It boils down to the more you acknowledge, actively mind, the things you have to be grateful for, the more you will have to be grateful for.

John Kralik's world bottomed out and he was on the brink of multiple disasters.  He took a look at what was good in his life and he had far more than he realized.

What is different about what he did opposed to the much pimped gratitude journals is that he let those who had benefited his life KNOW it.  He wrote thank you notes to everyone for just about everything.  They weren't just 'thanks for the cool shirt, love Dad' kinds of notes.  It is my assumption that they were short, but they were thoughtful. Those who received them were touched, and I can only assume paid it forward.

Have I written my 365 yet?

No.

I have made a list.  So far I have 94 people to write to.  Good thing I stocked up on Forever Stamps.  I don't have pretty penmanship. I don't have great stationery.  I have a feeling a lot of people will be getting notes on old Christmas cards!

Just goosing the muse!

I do LOVE active gratitude (and it is not something I am good at).

Company surprised me - but will carve out time when no one is looking.

dying to know who is in bed with what's-his-name!

Oh - not that I am procrastinating - at least I wasn't with the two book mentions, did them as pre-loaded posts and a way to get the muse to write ... priming the pump, as it were.
