Cows as the optimal audience

Several years ago on a Prarie Home Companion, Garrison Keillor confessed how he kept his ego in check.

Once when he went to a book signing, there was a farmer with his wife who claimed to have purchased everything he did on audiotape.  The went further to explain how he never missed a segment of Mr. Keillor's weekly broadcast.

As Mr. Keillor began to puff with pride, the farmer explained that he played the tapes in the milking room of his dairy to the cows.
"You see, your voice relaxes them and the milk production goes way up when they hear your voice."

Today, a link came from You Tube.  I have a feeling that these French cows are as much treasured as the other farmer's were.

This just proves to me that you really should know your audience.  Once you know them and hook them, they will be loyal!
