People who answer phones all day are seldom appreciated for their efforts. Having worked as the first line of defense for several businesses, I know this well.
Since Fuzzy's brush with fame, his neck has caused some little discomfort. As a result, he needs to do a little physical therapy to improve his quality of life.
When I called to set up his first appointment, the most charming person answered the phone. We had a little fun while attending business.
Blondie's current trick is stealth - well stealth for an old dog who is slightly hard of hearing and who has arthritis in his hips.
Why do I bring this up?
He crept into the room, blew out a sigh, and firmly placed his face on my thigh. Frankly, the bloody blue blazes were scared out of me. So when I said, "Grumpy, what do you think you're doing?" Her response was, "I think I like you."
I didn't have the heart to tell her I call both the husband and the dog by the same nicknames (well, both can be grumpy and both are fuzzy - only one is a blond though).
It made her day and Fuzzy Man didn't do too badly at therapy, either.
